Welcome folks!  Usually, we expect an introduction by a person giving a brief idea about how one exactly is, even though it might just be the opposite. Duh! Why always do something that is meant to be or we supposed to? Why not do something we should and feel?! (No! Not at all rebellious!) Though I clearly remember barely following rules as a child. Yeah! You got me there! Honestly! You can say, I am a perfectly average human, with a decent job and a not so extra-ordinary adventurous life. All in all just a girl next door! Who can play well, both being sassy and monotonous when needed. I am a bong by birth and have spent substantial twenty- one years of my life in Uttar-Pradesh and currently in Pune. There is a celebrated French proverb - “PETIT A PETIT, L’OISEAU FAIT SON NID.”  which means - Little by little the bird makes its nest. I happen to stick to it. This proverb designates patience and perseverance, which I believe is limited and difficult to keep up within today’s world.

To-Do-List | Always be ready for the hustle | How to design an effective To-Do list

An effective To-Do list can make a huge difference, a lot of your work becomes easy, simple and you save time as well. Today I'll be sharing tips to make your own To-Do list.

Warning: The post may excite only the productive nerds like me and the workaholics.

So, how effective is your To-do List? Does it help you set your priorities? How flexible is it? Do you feel guilty of not being able to strike off? Does your list help you to achieve even greater goals?

With the right strategies, the To-Do List helps you to achieve your greater goals and also at times gives you the flexibility to explore more than just completing the daily chores. So here is all that you need to know to make your to-do list work.

1. Put your daily to-do tasks on your list rather than, your objectives and goals. Daily tasks or the work-related chore belong in the to-do list and not the long term goals and objectives. This is the main difference between them. Do keep a note of your goal in a journal or diary and design your to-do list in a way that you find time to work upon your desired goals.

2. Refer your to-do list from time to time and keep it updated. Look at the to-do list at the beginning of the day to revise your schedule and plan. During the lunch time, you can at a glance visit it so that you get to know what all you need to focus on for the rest of your day.

3.  Saves a lot of time of your day. If you have a to-do list well planned and ready in hand, it will for sure. You will feel more productive and enthusiastic about work.

4. Design your to-do list keeping in mind all the tasks of the day, don't forget to mention the meetings, and try to be specific that is the key.

5. Honestly many would find it funny but the to-do list has an influence on the mind as well. Though I am a digital gal, people find it hilarious that I carry around an old school to-do list i.e. a diary still. After using a few online versions, over the years I have resorted back to pen and paper only for one main motive i.e - the scratch-off. Yaa I know that's funny. But, saves me from distraction as well!
