Welcome folks!  Usually, we expect an introduction by a person giving a brief idea about how one exactly is, even though it might just be the opposite. Duh! Why always do something that is meant to be or we supposed to? Why not do something we should and feel?! (No! Not at all rebellious!) Though I clearly remember barely following rules as a child. Yeah! You got me there! Honestly! You can say, I am a perfectly average human, with a decent job and a not so extra-ordinary adventurous life. All in all just a girl next door! Who can play well, both being sassy and monotonous when needed. I am a bong by birth and have spent substantial twenty- one years of my life in Uttar-Pradesh and currently in Pune. There is a celebrated French proverb - “PETIT A PETIT, L’OISEAU FAIT SON NID.”  which means - Little by little the bird makes its nest. I happen to stick to it. Subjects Kids should be taught in school

Teaching the students different skills will always help them connect more to the real world and make studies more relevant for them.

As a child, I remember asking this question to my mom, "Why do we even study things which we won't be using ever?!"

These skills will always get us to answer the questions related to such confusion clearly.

The few subjects kids should be taught in school are-

1. Creative Thinking - Giving the students the chance to explore their creative side and which in turn will definitely build their interest in different vocational activities.

2. Critical Thinking - The ability to think clearly and rationally about what to do or what to believe. It includes the ability to engage in reflective and independent thinking. Students with critical thinking skills are able to understand the logical connections between ideas.

3. Public Speaking - It is modernly viewed as any form of speaking (formally and informally) between an audience and the speaker. The feeling of confidence about giving a speech in public definitely adds to the personality of the child

4. Story Telling - Storytelling brings language learning alive and creates a participatory and immersive experience that allows Young Learners to enjoy hearing the language in a dynamic, sometimes stylistic, and entertaining way. Its useful in using key vocabulary and phrases can create an awareness of rhythm and structure.

5. Mental Math - allow the learner to do math in their head without using pencil and paper or a calculator. Mental math is useful in school and in everyday life. Mental math can help kids understand math concepts better and get to the answer faster.

6. Mindfulness - lessons on techniques to calm the mind and body can reduce the negative effects of stress and increase students' ability to stay engaged, helping them stay on track academically and avoid behavior problems.

7. Fitness - Fitness activity can help to improve the absorption of nutrients in the body. It also helps to improve cardiovascular health and develop muscular strength. The heart plays an important role in pumping blood to the entire body.

8. Life Skills - The development of life skills helps students to find new ways of problem-solving. Recognize the impact of their actions and teaches them to take responsibility. Build confidence both in spoken skills and for group collaboration and cooperation. Analyze options, make decisions, and understand why they make certain choices outside the classroom. Develop a greater sense of self-awareness and appreciation for others

Little practice and effort by all will surely make the young minds grow into the best version of them what we want!
