Welcome folks!  Usually, we expect an introduction by a person giving a brief idea about how one exactly is, even though it might just be the opposite. Duh! Why always do something that is meant to be or we supposed to? Why not do something we should and feel?! (No! Not at all rebellious!) Though I clearly remember barely following rules as a child. Yeah! You got me there! Honestly! You can say, I am a perfectly average human, with a decent job and a not so extra-ordinary adventurous life. All in all just a girl next door! Who can play well, both being sassy and monotonous when needed. I am a bong by birth and have spent substantial twenty- one years of my life in Uttar-Pradesh and currently in Pune. There is a celebrated French proverb - “PETIT A PETIT, L’OISEAU FAIT SON NID.”  which means - Little by little the bird makes its nest. I happen to stick to it. This proverb designates patience and perseverance, which I believe is limited and difficult to keep up within today’s world.

Sit and drink your way to a healthy breakfast every day by blending simple ingredients. Such smoothie recipes will commence your day correctly by packing in fresh fruits and vegetables highly nutritious, plus protein-filled yogurt and milk for an extra boost that will keep you going till noon.

  1. Banana Berry smoothie -

Ingredients -

  • Frozen banana

  • Strawberry Greek Yogurt

  • Unsweetened Almond Milk

  • Fresh or Frozen Raspberries

  • Water

  • 3 Ice Cubes

  • 1 mint sprig (optional)

Procedure -

  • Place the frozen banana, raspberries, Greek Yogurt, almond milk, water, and ice cubes in a blender

  • Puree the ingredients until creamy and smooth.

  • Pour the smoothie into a glass and top with a fresh mint sprig.




  1. Green Goddess Smoothie -

Ingredients -

  • 2 cups packed spinach

  • ¾ cup fresh or frozen mango

  • ¾ cup fresh pineapple

  • ¾ cup grapes

  • ½ cup of orange juice

  • 2 tbsp flax seeds

  • ¾cup water

Procedure -

  • Beginning with the orange juice and water, put all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Use frozen fruit for a thick, icy texture or add water if you like your smoothies thinner.




  1. Mango Madness Protein Smoothie -

Ingredients -

  •  1 Cup Milk - dairy, almond, rice, soy, hemp, coconut

  •  1 Scoop Boomer Nutrition ENERGY Whey Protein Powder - Vanilla

  •  1/2 Cup Mango - fresh or frozen

  •  1 Tablespoon Flax, Hemp or Chia seeds (optional)

  •  A handful of ice cubes

Procedure -

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender or bullet and blend until smooth. Garnish with a few blueberries and shaved coconut & a sprig of mint if desired. Enjoy immediately.




  1. Pomegranate-Berry Smoothie -

Ingredients -

  •  1/2 cup chilled pomegranate juice

  • 1/2 cup vanilla low-fat yogurt

  • 1 cup of frozen mixed berries 

Procedure -

  • In blender, place juice, yogurt, and berries. Cover and blend until pureed.

  • Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve.

Ingredients -

  •  1 banana previously sliced and frozen

  • ½ cup strong brewed coffee 120 mL, chilled

  • ½ cup milk 120 mL, any variety

  • ¼ cup rolled oats 25 g

  • Optional: a spoonful of nut butter

Procedure -

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth, adding more milk as necessary to reach a consistency to your liking. Optionally top with a sprinkle of chocolate and serve immediately.
